Monroe Suspension Shock Absorber
The consistency of the Monroe Suspension Shock Absorber is ensured by the all-weather fluid, which contains special additives to assist with extreme temperatures and help reduce oil breakdown, and a larger 2-3/8-in. reserve tube that holds more fluid to improve performance. For exceptional handling, the 10-stage valving is tuned specifically to the vehicle, adjusting to road extremes, while the larger 1-3/4-in. bore provides more efficient damping control. The longevity is bolstered by a robust hydraulic lock-out that prevents overextension and damage to the seal assembly, and a bearing with PTFE coating that reduces friction, combined with a nitrocarburized piston rod that provides durability and longer service life.
