Velvac Incorporated is an industry leading manufacturer and supplier of parts and components to the truck, RV and specialty vehicle markets. Founded in Detroit MI in 1934 as a Vacuum Power Equipment Company, the company name was changed to "Velvac" in 1940 in acknowledgment of its Velvet Vacuum Brakes products.

The company experienced another change in 1948 when Velvac moved from Detroit to Milwaukee, WI. 25 years later Velvac relocated to an industrial park minutes west of downtown Milwaukee in a community called New Berlin.

The next important move for Velvac came in Sept 2000 when the company announced that it would begin phasing out of its New Berlin manufacturing & assembly operations while also announcing the start of operations in Mexico. Velvac today is a multinational company with offices and warehouse facilities based in New Berlin with a state of the art manufacturing, powder-coating and assembly facility in Reynosa Mexico.

Additionally, Velvac maintains remote warehouse locations that are well stocked and near Los Angeles, Dallas and Toronto. These facilities ensure fast delivery of Velvac's complete stock of parts ordered from any North American location.
