Important Configuration Information:

LMRO = Low mount turbo w/exhaust venting out rear of engine (mounted along side of engine - almost tucks under exhaust manifolds).
CAC = Charge air cooled.

About This Engine:

A solid, high-torque, low-RPM six-cylinder engine, the Cummins B-Series is found in many over-the-road and industrial applications. The Cummins 6ISB, or Interact System, is the next generation Cummins engine and is a fully electronic engine. Pilot Engines offers engines specific to your applications--The goal is to provide an engine with little to no modification required at install ensuring you are back on the road faster.

Vehicle/Equipment Types:

The Cummins 6B/5.9L engine is found in many applications including Buses; Dodge, Ford, Freightliner, and Sterling trucks; yard tractors, and many other industrial and construction equipment. In many instances, Pilot Engines can offer a custom engine remanufactured for your vehicle or equipment.

Configurations:

Pilot Engines carries the 6B/5.9L in the following configurations: Dyno-Tested Complete Drop-In and Long Block Supreme.

Warranty:

Pilot Engines warrants to the original buyer that every product will be free from proven defects in material and workmanship. Pilot Engines warranty obligation will be limited, at our opinion, to repair or replace with another rebuilt engine. All warranty work must be preauthorized by Pilot Engines. To activate the warranty, all engines must be registered within 30 days from shipment. Complete Drop-In engines carry a full 2 year/unlimited mile warranty. The second year covers the long block only. The long block engines carry a 1 year/unlimited mile warranty. Off-Road applications are covered for 1 year/2000 hours. Some restrictions apply; see limited warranty details or call for more information.

Dyno Test:

All of Revivas Complete Drop-In engines are 100% dyno tested prior to shipment. Computer controls ensure that each engine dyno test is conducted under standard, repeatable settings. Every engine is run through a warm up cycle; three separate segments simulating light, medium and heavy throttle conditions; maximum torque and horsepower tests; both high and low idle tests; and a black light leak detection test with dyed oil, coolant and fuel. Reviva also tests oil and coolant temperature; monitors crankcase pressure, oil and turbo boost pressures; and tests fuel consumption.
