This tool will help you leave 2 mm (1/16") of urethane on the pinchweld just like the manufacturers recommend. One easy way to accomplish this is to put the chisel side up and use the heel of the blade to control the height at which the blade cuts the urethane (see drawing). It is the only pinchweld preparation tool that a technician needs. For this reason, many of our customers have asked us to make a set that has all the different blade sizes inside one kit. This way everything stays together and is not lost among the other tools you have in your toolbox.  The kit comes with one flip-top handle SuperScraper (with five 1/2" wide blades loaded in the handle), package of 5 - 1/2" wide blades (SC301), package of 10 - 5/8" wide blades (NT467) and package of 10 - 3/4" wide blades (MZT468).
