REDNECK TRAILER part description
Demco 12" x 2" Drum RH Free Backing Hydraulic Galvanized Brake Assembly - 7,000lb Capacity Per Pair. Demco hydraulic brake assemblies include standard features such as hot dipped galvanized backing plates, Stainless steel hardware, grease packed wheel cylinders and riveted shoes for long life, especially for the marine market. Available in 10”, and 12” sizes with uni-servo, Duo- serve and free backing models. Marine-grade hydraulic drum brake assembly is great for boat trailers. Designed for use with surge-type trailer brake actuators. Sturdy, corrosion-resistant steel construction.Free backing assemblies incorporates a “fall-away” shoe which diminishes shoe drag when backing up. Requires periodic manual adjustment. Marine cluster has galvanized back plate, stainless steel spring hardware, plated wheel cylinder and riveted marine brake shoe. Free-backing brakes let your trailer move in reverse without the brakes being activated by your surge actuator. These brakes are needed if your actuator does not have a reverse lockout, which is a mechanism that ensures that the actuator does not activate when your rig moves in reverse. Nuts-38N, bolts-7-5, and washers-38LW sold separately.

Redneck Trailer® has been setting the standard in trailer parts since 1979. During its first two years, it manufactured gooseneck trailers that were painted red, which is where its name was derived. It then shifted to distributing trailer parts instead of producing trailers in response to the customers' need for a reliable source of trailer parts in 1981. Since the initial opening of the Redneck Trailer Supplies warehouse in Springfield, MO, the company has grown to include 20 branch locations in the United States. It has cemented itself as a leading supplier of trailer parts and accessories across the US and beyond.
