Product Description

Autolite 303 Copper Resistor Spark Plug

Features & Benefits

  • Electrode geometry delivers consistent arc travel during unstable mixture combustion
  • Nickel-plated shell withstands corrosive compounds commonly found in urban road spray
  • EMI-control chamber helps protect communication systems from ignition interference
  • Ceramic body composition maintains structural strength during wide thermal cycling
  • Secure upper terminal supports strong coil connection on aging ignition harnesses

Autolite Spark Plug

The Autolite Spark Plug is commonly installed in work vehicles and light commercial engines that undergo constant stop-and-go cycles. It features a copper resistor that helps maintain a consistent thermal profile during frequent restarts. The 13/16-inch hex form suits larger cast-iron cylinder heads often found in older service vans and small utility trucks. Multiple ceramic ribs protect against voltage tracking when water intrusion, chemical vapors, or high humidity surround the ignition system. A fused-glass resistor seal further reduces EMI that can interfere with radios, scanners, and diagnostics. The Autolite 303 provides stability for engines subjected to repeated warm-ups, extended idle periods, and electrically sensitive environments.
