Autolite 255 Copper Non-Resistor Spark Plug
The Autolite Spark Plug is a strong match for older ignition systems and small-engine applications where a standard layout is preferred for strong coil output transfer. The high alumina multi-rib ceramic insulator provides thermal conductivity and superior insulation, supporting the plug's structure during high-heat cycles. The solid copper core center electrode aids in thermal control, reducing firing-tip heat and improving resistance to fouling when engines operate at fluctuating loads or extended idle. Additionally, its high nickel alloy center and ground electrode resists wear in environments where combustion residue is more prominent. The nickel-plated shell is corrosion resistant to provide increased durability over extended periods. The Autolite 255's heat-fused glass composite resistor center seal provides a 100 percent leak-proof seal and ensures high performance EMI noise suppression.
