- A pressure sensitive, normally-closed, on/off control valve that automatically returns to the exhaust position when the supply pressure is below the minimum required pressure
- Usually mounted on the vehicle dashboard and used in various applications
- May be manually operated to either position when pressure is above the required minimum
- Can be used in conjunction with the Bendix® TP-2™ tractor protection valve in pre-FMVSS 121 single circuit tractor air systems
- Stringently evaluated to ensure the highest level of quality and efficiency

A part of Bendix's comprehensive range of coreless valves, the Bendix PP-1 air brake pressure protection valve is a genuine Bendix remanufactured valve, but it does not require the return of the old valve core. It goes through stringent remanufacturing processes to meet or exceed OEM specifications in form, fit, and function.
