Stemco Drive Axle Wheel Oil Seal
The Stemco Drive Axle Wheel Oil Seal creates the boundary that keeps lubricant contained inside the hub while blocking outside contamination. It forms a sealing interface between the rotating hub and the stationary spindle surface. Its sealing lip stays in contact with the spindle as the hub turns, preventing oil from escaping the bearing cavity. That same contact also keeps dirt, water, and debris from entering the assembly. Any breach at this point would affect bearing life and wheel-end performance. At this sealing point, the Stemco 383-0236 isolates the internal hub environment from external exposure.
