Donaldson Fuel Filter Water Separator
The Donaldson Fuel Filter Water Separator conditions diesel fuel by separating moisture from the fuel stream before it reaches injection components. As fuel circulates through composite media, suspended water droplets are drawn together and isolated from the primary flow path, reducing the risk of corrosion and injector wear. This separation process operates continuously during engine use, supporting cleaner fuel delivery under variable load conditions. Configured as a spin-on style assembly and identified as a water separator type, it threads directly onto compatible mounting heads. It is not intended for marine applications. The Donaldson P551000 manages fuel and moisture separation within compatible diesel systems.
