BULLDOG part description
Bulldog® is a renowned brand of gooseneck hitches, gooseneck couplers, trailer couplers, and Wedge-Latch™ elements. It was created in 1920 by entrepreneur couple Thomas and Lula Jacobs while running a Ford and Lincoln dealership. Shortly thereafter, the couple established the Hammer Blow Tool Company, a manufacturer of precision tools and steel couplers, and started selling various trailer products under the Bulldog brand. In 2002, Cequent Performance Products Inc. acquired Hammer Blow. Today, many Hammer Blow products are manufactured by this company, including the widely recognized Bulldog hitch and other trailer products.
