Product Description
Walker Products 235-2067 Engine Camshaft Position Sensor
Features & Benefits
- Delivers highly accurate timing signals to the engine control module, ensuring optimal engine performance.
- Camshaft Position Sensor work together with the crankshaft position sensor and the vehicle's ECU to ensure that both ignition timing and fuel supply are correct for peak fuel economy, performance, and emissions.
- As the camshaft rotates, the magnet moves past the Hall-effect sensor, generating a voltage signal that is then sent to the engine control module, which uses it to determine the correct timing of the fuel injection and ignition systems.
- Facilitates precise variable valve timing, optimizing efficiency, power, and emissions. Accurate tracking of camshaft position enhances combustion cycles, enabling better engine performance and reduced environmental impact.
- Cam sensors are designed to withstand the harsh conditions within an engine compartment, including temperature fluctuations, vibrations, and exposure to engine fluids.
