- New York's prevailing wage rate law (Labor Law 220, paragraph a of subdivision 3-a) requires contractors and subcontractors to post a notice at the beginning of the performance of every public work contract on each job site that includes the following:
- telephone number and address for the Department of Labor (DOL)
- statement informing laborers, workers or mechanics of their right to contact the DOL if they're not receiving proper wages and/or supplements for their particular job classification
- Mandatory posting for New York government agency construction projects
- Notice must be posted in a prominent and accessible place on the project site
- Laminated poster measures 9.25" W x 14.25" H
