WABCO Brake Proportioning Valve
An empty trailer needs less rear braking force than a fully loaded one, which is exactly the gap the WABCO Brake Proportioning Valve closes. This pneumatic valve modulates air pressure heading to the rear brake chambers, holding back excess force during unladen runs. Load distribution feeds directly into that adjustment, so braking force scales up or down as cargo weight changes. Tire wear drops along with premature rear-wheel lockup once pressure matches the load riding on the axle. Cleared for operation up to 10.0 bar, the WABCO 4722500000 fits directly into standard commercial pneumatic brake circuits.
